Contact Person Phone Number EmailThe work is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or 40 U.S.C. Section 3141, et seq. The proposed work contemplated for the project consists of: A new 36‑inch HDPE raw water pipeline serving the Scott Water Treatment Plant. The approximately 1,750 foot pipeline will start at an existing valve vault near Haskins Dam, and follow the access road along Haskins Creek before leaving the creek alignment to follow the WTP access road to enter the WTP site. The pipeline will replace the existing raw water pipeline that follows a slightly different route to the WTP. Work also includes valving, modifications to vaults, a new fire fill station near the upstream end of the pipeline, and cut and cap existing 36-inch steel finished water treatment plant by-pass pipeline. Temporary construction shoring and protection of existing utilities along the pipeline route and at the treatment plant will be required as a part of the work.
All work is to be completed by December 31, 2024. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date is April 18, 2024.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference at the Norman Scott Water Treatment Plant (23100 NW Haskin Creek Road, Yamhill, OR 97148) on March 18, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.
Qualifications
Contractors must be qualified in accordance with the applicable parts of ORS 279C in order to enter into a contract with the Owner for public improvement and public works project in Oregon.
The Owner will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low Bidder as part of its evaluation of the lowest responsive and responsible Bid.
Special Requirements
Bids must comply with the requirements listed in Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders, in order to be considered responsive. A nonresponsive Bid will be rejected and not considered for award.
