Internships, Apprenticeships, and Seasonals

MW&L provides several opportunities to introduce this exciting industry to a new generation.

Internships

Our student workers don’t push paper and fetch coffee.

As valuable members of the team, MW&L interns work on real projects and get paid to do it. Whether you’re in high school or college, you are eligible to apply. MW&L interns come from associate programs and four-year colleges.

MW&L internships offer flexible schedules, networking, training, and competitive salaries.

Most of our internships are posted through McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP) in the spring, and take place in the summer months, June – September. They are also posted on our website. Please check out our Current Openings page around late February to see these opportunities.

MW&L provides internship opportunities that vary from year to year. Past internships have included:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Communications
  • Water Treatment
  • Water Distribution
  • Conservation
  • Customer Service

Apprenticeships

MW&L has Electric Lineworker apprentices on staff.

Future Apprenticeship openings available to external applicants will be posted on MW&L’s Current Openings page.
