Fee Schedule for Public Records Requests

Document Research beyond 30 minutes: $50 per hour (minimum one hour; MW&L may charge in increments of 1/10 of an hour)
Attorney Fee Rate: $100 per hour (minimum of ½ hour, if required; MW&L may charge in 1/10 of an hour)
- Pursuant to the Public Records Law, the public body may include in a fee the cost of time spent by an attorney for the public body in reviewing the public records, redacting material from the public records or segregating the public records into exempt and nonexempt records. The public body may not include in a fee the cost of time spent by an attorney for the public body in determining the application of the provisions of ORS 192.410 to 192.505.
Copies: $0.25 per page.
Copy of electronic or audio record: $5.00 or actual cost of recording medium, whichever is greater.

1.4 Public record requests to MW&L may be directed to: Clerk of the Commission, Trena McManus at: PO Box 638, 855 NE Marsh Lane, McMinnville, OR 97128; or email. 1.5 MW&L will acknowledge and respond to the request in the form as attached described in Section 3, or in another form as reasonably determined by MW&L to comply with the Public Records Law. 1.6 A public records request is received upon actual receipt by MW&L. 1.7 An acknowledgment or a response to a request for disclosure of public records is effective upon mailing, or actual delivery, whichever is earlier. 1.8 MW&L Fees and charges for public record requests are as established by the MW&L Commission as set forth in Section 2 herein.
