A native McMinnvillian, Lisa Macy-Baker returned to McMinnville in 2007 after living in Corvallis, Portland, and Bend. Before joining Visit McMinnville as Destination Development Manager, Lisa spent much of her career teaching and coaching tennis, most recently at Linfield University. Lisa has spent the last few years doing development work on the Oregon Coast.
Lisa founded and serves as the executive director of the McMinnville Community Tennis Association, a nonprofit providing affordable youth tennis programming. She is the current chair of the Three Capes Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and the Nestucca Valley Community Alliance. She serves on the McMinnville Swim Club Board of Directors, the Parks and Recreation MacPac Committee, and the South Tillamook County Parking Advisory Committee. In addition, she coaches youth basketball and tennis.
