MCMINNVILLE, OR – McMinnville Water & Light will close at noon on Thursday, April 30, so staff can pack for MW&L's move to its temporary location while construction occurs on the Marsh Lane headquarters.
MW&L will open at noon on Monday, May 4, at a temporary location, 340 NE Kirby St., which was previously home to Yamhill County Health & Human Services and Veteran Services, but those departments moved out of the building in early March. MW&L will be at the Kirby Street location for approximately 15 months.
“We were fortunate to find this temporary location that is only a little over a mile away from our current headquarters,” said John Dietz, MW&L general manager. “Being able to move our staff out while construction is going on will shorten the duration of project and save money.”
During construction, the payment drop box in MW&L’s Marsh Lane parking lot will not be accessible, but customers can use the drop box in the city parking lot at 2nd & Cowls Streets. Customers are encouraged to use MW&L’s convenient 24/7 online options to pay bills, schedule payments, check usage, and start or stop service.
