The general nature of the work includes routine tree trimming work within the McMinnville Water and Light service area, in accordance with the Oregon Public Utility Commission Minimum Vegetation Clearance Requirements, the Vegetation Pruning standards found at OAR 860-024-0016 -0017 (adopting ANSI A300 Part 1, 2001 or most current edition), the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and MW&L’s Tree Trimming Contract (“the Contract”). The Contract for tree trimming services shall include labor and equipment for (2) three-person crews for a term of three years, with the option of two one-year extensions. Each crew shall be equipped with one lift truck/chip combination truck with 75’ working height, one lift truck/chip combination truck with 65’ working height, two wood chipper (6” diameter chipping capacity), two four-wheel drive pickup and small miscellaneous equipment per MW&L specification.
