Sealed Bids for the services of an Oregon licensed and bonded asphalt paving contractor for the Asphalt Trench/Patch Paving Services project for the City of McMinnville, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon acting by and through its Water & Light Commission (“Owner” or “McMinnville Water & Light” or “MW&L”), will be accepted by Chad Hudson, Purchasing Manager at McMinnville Water & Light, until July 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm local time. The awarded contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment and materials to install approximately 155 tons of level 2, ½ dense hot mix asphalt concrete (HMAC) in accordance with City of McMinnville Street Paving Standards. This project is comprised of paving multiple trench and leak patches in several different locations throughout the City of McMinnville and Yamhill County. Contractor will be required to install WMAC to match the existing roadway crown or cross slope. All work shall be substantially completed by September 30, 2025.
There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this project.
Qualifications
Contractors must be qualified in accordance with the applicable parts of ORS 279C in order to enter into a contract with the Owner for public work in Oregon and shall have a minimum of three years’ experience on projects of similar size and complexity to this Work under the current firm name.
