The City of McMinnville, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, acting by and through its Water & Light Commission ("Owner" or "McMinnville Water & Light" or "MW&L") is seeking formal sealed bids for three steel power transmission poles. All three poles must be delivered on or before June 30, 2027, to be considered for this project. Manufactures shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in the manufacture of steel power transmission poles and have been supplying steel power transmission pole in the United States for a minimum of five years.
Sealed bids will be received and opened by MW&L’s Purchasing Manager (contact person for this procurement) until bid closing on October 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. local time. Bids received after closing will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids shall be sealed and marked “Bid Enclosed – Brentano Lane Steel Power Transmission Poles” and delivered to:

Electronic bids will not be accepted.
Per ORS 279B.055 (10), this is a competitive sealed bidding process and if MW&L awards a contract it shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid substantially complies with the requirements and criteria set forth in the ITB and with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements. There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project.

Any Contract interpretation will be in writing in response to a written request by a Bidder; oral interpretations are not binding. MW&L may cancel this procurement, reject bids not in compliance with all the prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of MW&L that it is in the best interest of the public to do so and may waive any and all informalities.
