Findings of Fact for the Use of the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/CG) Contracting Method

In accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 279C.335(5), this Public Notice announces that McMinnville Water and Light Department (MW&L) will present a Findings of Fact to the McMinnville Water and Light Commission to seek approval for an exemption from competitive bidding. This exemption would authorize an alternative contracting method, specifically a Request for Proposal (RFP) to select a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Office Expansion/Remodel and Warehouse Seismic Retrofit project (“The Project”), a public improvement project. MW&L’s draft findings supporting this exemption from competitive bidding are available for public review at the MW&L office, located at 855 NE Marsh Lane, McMinnville, Oregon. The draft findings are available below.
A recommendation to approve these findings will be submitted to McMinnville Water and Light Commission, the Local Contract Review Board, at a public hearing on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM (or shortly after that time). The hearing is being held in-person at 855 NE Marsh Lane and virtually through the Zoom meeting software.
