Payment Assistance
If you are having trouble paying your utility bill, we have some resources that may be able to help!
We understand that families and individuals who, because of unfortunate events like COVID-19 or difficulties caused by job loss, medical bills, or those simply living on a fixed income, find it impossible to pay utility bills.
As a community owned utility, we believe that everyone should have safe, reliable electric and water service. McMinnville Water and Light (MW&L) has a Customers Helping Customers (CHC) Program that is designed to help customers overcome a temporary time of crisis by providing money to pay their utility bills. The program is funded by donations from customers and employees, and MW&L and the City of McMinnville have offered matching funds to reach and help as many households as possible.
St. Vincent de Paul administers these funds on our behalf, so if you are in need of assistance, give them a call today! You will find St. Vincent’s contact information along with other agencies that may be able to help listed here. You can always contact our office at 503-472-6158 for more information.
