Water Superintendent Eric Abrams retires after 30 years of service

The Commissioners took a moment in the June, 2010 Commission meeting to formally recognize Mr. Abrams' dedication and considerable accomplishments by adopting a resolution that highlighted his 30 year career at McMinnville Water & Light. McMinnville Water & Light Upgrades the Norman Scott Water Treatment Plant

The Norman Scott Water Treatment Plant upgrade marks the single largest capital improvement project in the utility’s 118 year history. Upon completion McMinnville Water & Light will be in a strategic position to service the community’s ever growing water capacity needs. The project also marks the second of four major water supply challenges (source, treatment, storage, and transmission) that the Water & Light Commissioners have tackled in the last 3 years.
