Minimum Qualifications:

Three years progressively responsible experience in developing models and analyzing complex information, with experience in the utility power industry preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify.

Job Description:

This is professional, analytical, and administrative work related to acquisition and administration in power supply and transmission; contract coordination and implementation with suppliers and large customers; and data analysis work for McMinnville Water and Light.

The ability to facilitate close organizational coordination with suppliers and large customers is expected. Frequent contact is maintained in writing, in person, or over the telephone with power suppliers, large customers, engineers, contractors, consulting firms, regulatory officials, and the Bonneville Power Administration. The employee reports to the Power Resource Manager and assignments are discussed for policy interpretations and implementation guidelines. The employee is expected to apply professional knowledge and experience while assisting the Power Resource Manager in planning, developing, acquiring, and administering power supply and transmission programs as well as conservation, demand side management, and distributive generation.

This position may assist in rate policy analysis.
