Online Payments

McMinnville Water and Light has spent the last year going through vendor responses to select new business systems. After careful evaluation, the vendor selected is National Information System Cooperative or NISC. They will be implementing our next generation of business systems software in the fall of 2008. This project reflects a major business change for MWL and cannot be done quickly or done haphazardly. All billing and business records will be converted as part of this project to prevent any interruptions or problems with billing. NISC currently has over 250 customers running this system and we have every confidence that we can adapt ourselves to their system.

The systems selected from NISC do include an online bill inquiry and payment system using the World Wide Web. Our plans are to implement these systems with the base installation modules. Until these systems are upgraded, we do not have any facilities on our current system to support online bill payment.
